Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she was able to end her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round and got her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
