Dennings was involved in a romantic affair with Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") in 2011 through 2014. Following their breakup, she began dating Josh Groban. They were still together. Dennings began to get acquainted with musician Andrew W.K. at the beginning of 2021. The couple soon began getting together. They announced their engagement to each other in the month of May 2021. Dennings is a long-time fan of the musician. She has followed him since 2014. Dennings is Jewish and was born into a Jewish family. Dennings has stated that while she may have been brought up Jewish but her faith does not play a major role in her daily life. She has a variety of activities, which include gardening, painting and reading.
