Adele

AdeleAdkins was born to a single mother of just a few years and was raised in various working-class London neighbourhoods. As a young girl she was a fan of contemporary pop songs and also learning to play guitar and the clarinet. She was introduced to Etta who was a mid-century Rhythm-and blues singer, in her teens, and started to consider a career as musician. As she was honed at a secondary institution for performing arts, which was funded by the federal government, a friend started posting songs Adkins had written on Myspace. After graduation Adkins' music attracted the attention of record label. She signed a deal in 2006 with XL Recordings.
